The following are just some of the many things people don’t understand.

  1. According to The Bible, Archbishop James Usher in 1625, determined that, the earth was created in the year 4004 B. C. A result of counting all the generations in the Bible from Adam to Jesus Christ.
  2. The Mexico City earthquake of 1985, damaged a total of 5 billion $. Injuring 30000 and killing 5000 deaths. Though it vibrated for only 2 seconds.
  3. The world’s largest lake, is in the coldest and remote part of Antarctica called Vostol. The lake is 510metres deep, 200kilometres long and 50kilometres wide.
  4. The average sea level has risen 130metres for the past 15000 years as the past Pleistocene glacier melted. Thus added water to oceans.
  5. The sea level rises on an average 23cm per century, since 1930.
  6. A rise of even 0.1 meter on a low lying coast, could destroy thousands of beach affront houses.
  7. According to the ancient Hindu calendar, the year 2000 A.D would be year; 1,972,949,101!
  8. Titanium Oxide, is now used as cement. It can absorb UVR and promotes decomposition of pollutants that would otherwise darken, the surface of buildings.
  9. Every time we exhale, we add little carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Thus even normal rain is acidic. Having a pH of 5.5-6, same as milk.
  10. The youngest diamond ever is in Zaire. It’s approximated to be 628 million years old. Since most diamonds, age 2.4-3.2 billion years old!
  11. There are more than 400 nuclear reactors in 31 countries. Producing over 355 billion Watts of electric power.
  12. The US alone has 103 nuclear reactors. Which are equivalent to 100billion Watts.
  13. A sphere of nuclear material the size of a table tennis ball, would have a mass of 2.5 billion tons.
  14. Only 2% of a speaker’s energy is converted to sound. The remaining 98% is lost as heat.
  15. The lowest temperature ever reached (lab only), is 0.00000002Kelvin. To be precise 0Kelvin temperature, has never been reached.
